Our trip was a wonderful balance of seeing the "must see's" as well as wandering aimlessly and coming across truly Parisian moments. What fun!

Probably the coolest/creepiest sculpture I've ever seen.

The house wine please. They have a huge oak barrel they keep on the front counter and just fill up these glass bottles for each table. If you don't drink it all, they don't charge you for it an pour it back!
And we hit the Eiffel Tower at the perfect time of day.

ReplyDeleteI have, indeed, been to Paris, and it was amazing. I was there in the summer, and my absolutely favorite part of the city was Montemarte and seeing the Sacre Coeur on the big hill.
ReplyDeletesomeday, someday i will get there.
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful photos and beautiful you! haha, i love that first picture the best though i think.
OOo lovely pics! I've been there once when I was in high school and it was beautiful and overwhelming. It was very hot that summer and I got an itchy infection and yet I managed to see some incredible things. We saw some of the Louvre, this little cafe called " Les Beaus Arts", the Defense section outside of Paris. I loved the countryside better than Paris actually but its an iconic city nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteOh Bethany Paris is a must if you are here :) I was there last August with my kids and they really enjoyed the subways, they still talk about the Notredame, sacre coeur, eiffel toren and the boattrip we made:)Next time I'll go there I want to show them some of the Louvre museum and centre Pompidou :)
