eclipse

Did you all catch the eclipse last week?  We had a pretty great view of it from our apartment and my husband was positively enamored.  I kept telling him not to look at it...you know...burning your eyeballs and whatnot, but he kept checking in on it's status.  He took a bunch of photos, most of which wouldn't focus, unfortunately, but they were still pretty creatively inspiring.  These were not shot in black and white, but all ended up looking perfectly moody.

These are the most in focus shots we got.

Pretty fantastic with the palm tree, no?  I can just picture it in acrylic now...
